What makes a Safedisc 2 compatible writer?

Well, it´s like this:

Safedisc 2 does not store it´s information in the subchannel area, unlike Securom 2 (and 1) which does this. This means that all you need is a reader that is capable of fast error skip, and a writer that does correct EFM encoding. This is exactly what the Philips writers do. Unluckily, they don´t do Securom, but the main problem these days are Safidisc 2.

I´ve got me a LiteOn 24x10x40 which makes perfect copies of everything. Except for Safedisc 2. The copies are only readable in the LiteOn itself. But, since I love that drive, that is no problem for me.
