HELP with Rugby 2001 installation problem!!

Whenever I go to install Ruby 2001, the installshield gets to 99% and locks up. It just sits there and hangs in the background. I did a check with Norton Diagnostics and it said that sector 1120 cannot be read. But I am sure that it is Windows ME being an a$$hole!!!

Somebody please help, I cannot live without my rugby!!!

Sounds to me it might just be telling the truth.
Your cd has more than likely been damaged.

Nup, sorry BOT-CK, even though my cd has a few small scratches, I borrowed my cousin's Rugby cd and exactly the same thing happened.

I have formatted my hard drive and reinstalled MicrosoftME twice, hoping that it would finally install, but to no avail! I just rang EA technical support, and they think its either my CD Writer (Acer 8x4x32 5.EZ) or the copy protection (disabling the game from being installed twice).
