help burning red alert2 allied eng version

can someone plz explain how to make a working back-up of red alert 2 allied. i had followed the directions in GCW but i didn't go will cuz i didn't really understand it. i used a program named windows commander to copy all the contents from the cd to the directory of c:\windows\temp\cd.... then used the patch from GCW and patched the setup file inside the setup folder and then i deleted the allied_crack.dat and the instruction.txt told me too. after that i burned the the cd folder with adaptec easy cd creator( the data burning program) after finish burning i ##### and the label of the cd is RA1 like the direction says. afterward i try to install it. there was no pop ups after i inserted the cd, so then i went to the cd drive and opened up e:\cd\setup\ then click on the setup.exe and the installition screen pop up i followed the direction, i entered the cdkey but then on the part where it should have a preview( the percentage part) instead it says installition file error or something like that. so can anyone plz give me a clear and ez to understand instruction on how to burn red alert 2 allied disc!!

Ok mate, get yourself a cd-rw disc and use it to practise. For starters don't use ezcd, use nero (www.ahead.de) for this work, and I think this may be where your problem is. I have done the same as you and it has worked fine. When you copy the contents to the hdd, just use windows explorer.

Any more probs email me at [email protected]
