Usually, when a software maker has an update or a fix for a game it's called a patch. However, you may hear a file used to override the copy protection of a game called either a fix, crack or patch. Sometimes confusing, but best to read any documents that comes with a patch or crack to see what it does, and if it applies to what you want to do. Example: You bought a game and it doesn't work with your graphics card. You would most likely go to the games web site for a patch. Now, you've backed up a game (copied it) and when you insert the Cd to play, it askes for the CD, even though it's in. You would then go to gamecopyworld to get a crack, fix or patch, because the software you used to back up your game, didn't do an exact copy, even though you thought it did. Also, you may have done a full install, because you want to play the game off your hard drive, without the CD. Again, gamecopyworld for a No CD, crack, patch or fix. Simple isn't it...NOT!
