1.-- Install Game, update to latest version + No-DVD.
2.-- Download the Conversion and extract to HD, (not in game folder)
2a.- Move _CommonRedist to Conversion output folder. (Last DVD)

yeah you are right i have the same error but i don't know what this error means

Its something to do with the mod files trying again and if not work give up with it as just wasting time.

From the package, 7z.exe, wem-packer.exe and wem-unpacker.exe contain the "longPathAware" attribute in their manifest. If you import this:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem]
"LongPathsEnabled"=dword:00000001

into your registry then these programs - and only these - will be able to handle paths longer than the default maximum of 260 characters. More information: Maximum Path Length Limitation.

I tried as well other day nothing its the game files killing it as not reading certain parts i've tried dozens from the database and all same error even done some manully in the settings selected bits at a time remember which parts worked and which not it sure is one hell of a game to pack but takes forever to install nayway and sometimes doesn't run as you need to run installer in directory to install certain files.

This is definetly path lenght

Alone this path has a lenght of 267 characters, without game folder name.

If you can share me this file alone pls (incl full path).

Well a GOG 74.gb download takes a while to installl seems its already packed hard as well theres few floating around all same size but do take while to install either way.

This is freearc issue.


Compress with 7zip instead.




Extraction is empty but it extracted actually.
Just make sure your path is as short as possible, like D:\STALKERGAMMA\...

Idk what's going on in devs heads these days to make such long file paths...

Can't see pics some reasom not able view in my coutry get that on fw sites they restirct the views but game does install to small path wia GOG installer but not worry game works sometimes not all the time got two versions and both take over hour install from 72.4gb files
