Based on CIU 1.0.0.3 by yener90;
Remove your original uninstall files before you make the conversion.

Note:

Splash.png may be lag for some systems. If your case, delete it from Setup.cab\Setup folder;
You must have at least a resolution of 1000x600 to view the installer correctly;
Don't move directx folder and msvc2010 folder. Leave in the game folder!

Autorun and Installer has transparent background.

v1.2 - CIU release; (102 - 115 downloads)
 - Complete redesign (Transparent autorun and installer & more...);
 - Added new background images for DLC;
 - Updated to CIU 1.0.0.2;

v1.3 - CIU release;
 - Update to CIU 1.0.0.3;
 - Fixed uninstall name problem;
 - Changed the position of LangBox (CIU 1.0.0.3 doesn't support ShowOnly feature);

1. Install the game, all updates + DLC + no-cd; Download attachment and extract in your HD (Not in game folder);

2. Remove languages ​​that you don't need (language.streamed):

game installation folder\base
game installation folder\dlc\dlc3\base

3. Delete or move mp folder;

4. Run compress.bat, select your game directory and wait for Finished!

Final Sizes:

DVD1: 3.89GB
DVD2: 4.23GB
DVD3: 4.17GB
DVD4: 1.07GB

For all languages, download the second attachment and use internal compression.

I advise you, not possible to fit in 3xDVD5 because of DLC even with 1 language.

I planned for 1 language, if you try make the conversion with more languages, DVD1 will have more 4.7GB.

Yep, i know using internal compression. I was talking about the new conversion and not the old
In new conversion i changed the compression's and conversion's method. Is more fast to decompression using the new conversion, instead lzma2/ultra64. I think...

Anyway, i will post a conversion using internal installation for make the conversion with all languages.

I really like your conversion, but the RAGE logo is flattened (what looks ugly) as I see on the screenshots. Also the Autroun background has no "soul" in my opinion. Maybe this will look better (I placed the original too).

You have the option of creating your own installer. You also use the old installer, where I use some of your images. here: http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=92812

I don't see any flattened logo. It's really hard, work with transparent background, if you try run the setup, you can see the transparence instead black blackground.

I'm very upset with this. I'm working 4 days in this conversion, i use the new logo from DLC. I use only widescreen images. If you change the images, sorry but you will ruined my project. But you can do what you want.

For me, looks very fucking great! One of the best I've ever done. I thank Yener for providing the new features of CIU!

I can't give my opinion about souls, because I don't believe that I have one much less in an installer.

Kamyk95 where do you think the screenshot came from, its the same image just cropped down a bit. IF your so unimpresseed with the images used then keep your big mouth shut, be thanful that Fabioddq took the time to re-write the conversion AGAIN...

There are 3 conversions for this game, this one, his old one without DLC, and the worst of the 3 mine. You use what you can find and cleanup images the best you can. If your so picky in whats showing during the install portion, then you take HOURS and make your own then post it & we'll see how impressed users will be.

I think its perfect and i know just how long Fabio' works on these images.. nice job bud,

Sorry, if I offended someone with my post. I didn't predict such reaction. I know that thing takes hours, because I always tried to make a conversion and it didn't work and I always just wasted time. I apologize You Fabioddq and You Pakrat. I critized You, which was wrong, but I didn't mean to do that. I just used wrong words to do that. I understand my mistake and I apologize again. I always liked and used Your conversions. And if a conversion didn't fit to me I always changed it's content (WITHOUT posting it on the forum), but the CIU is black magic to me. I just wanted to make this autorun look like the one from your previous RAGE conversion, but I forgot that the black background means that the autorun is transparent, which will look nice, but I forgot about the CIU possibilities.

As much as I do agree with Pakrats comments above, I also think 'Kamyk95' didnt mean to offend with what he wrote, it was only meant to be constructive criticism but worded wrong. Using the words 'ugly' and 'soul' didnt help but also shows he does not speak English as his first language.

Fabio also has to consider, what first appears as an insult to your work on this installer, was actually a compliment for your first Installer for this game.

'Kamyk95' liked your original installer so much that he only wanted to make this new one look the same. I would take that as a compliment.

Always try and remember, quite often NON English members will use words which dont always mean what they are trying to say.

Delete this line in InstallerScript.iss:
