i to have messed up my ps2 and had sent it to one shop or another with no joy . so i phoned sony told them it was broken and i had been in side it . they will repare your ps2 or send you one of there repare unit for 105 quid .
not good but its better than 300 quid for a new one ps i removed the neo2 chip before sony got it back
