Pioneer is coming out with a DVD/CDR Burner that they say will burn DVD's that will read in 90 percent of DVD players. If so I believe that the PS2 will be able to read these. It's Pioneer's DVR-A03 Drive. I'm not sure how much the media will cost but the drive will run about $900. Which is a far cry cheaper than 34 Grand. If anybody knows anymore info on this drive and the cost of the DVD-R please post a reply. I know this drive won't copy DVD movies exactly. It won't record the encryption part of the DVD needed to play DVD movies.

Yes I know this is a dupe. I posted this in the wrong topic. Oops. Sorry.
