Chip / Swap Trick / Patch - Aaahhhh!

Ok guys I have just perchased a Playstation2 I can copy the games no problem with CDR WIN but I have a few questions

Q1 Do I need a Stealth chip or similar?

Q2 Is there anyway around pulling the PS2 apart for the swap trick (dont fancy doing that)

Q3 Do I have to patch the CD and do the swap trick?

Q4 Do you have a step by step guide? starting from perchasing a PS2??
