How can I tell if my game is imported?

Hi there,
I've tried to backup Soulreaver using the UK patch
And I have followed the kind advice of several folk
but the patch (which is an .EXE) just says "not an iso file" when I try to apply it to the .bin file (or the .cue file). After copying with cdrwin.

Could someone tell me 1:Am I doing the right thing when opening the patch as a dos window and entering the path of the bin file then pressing enter.
2:How can I tell for sure if the game's imported or not? Everything on the cd\game and manual is in
English. On the disk itself in very small letters it says "made in Austria" Is that my answer? or could it be made there for the UK market?

Copying this game is now becoming an obsession
I'm a sad b*****d I know but please help me.
