Thanks for the help yesterday, but abother problem has arisen?!? (FF9)

Ok the game all loads up and whatnot, (i used hooligans UK pal patch).

But when i get the the opening screen, and click on new game, it goes black, and stays black?

Any ideas? and sorry for bothering you guys again.

OK i got it working, i had to start a new game using the original disc, and then save it at the first save point.

I can now coninue the game on the copied disc. I thought that it might be the FMV's but the one at the castle works, only seems to be the opening scene.
