There is no purpose about storing a demo exe on GCW as it serves no purpose.

Why's there no purpose? It works as a no cd, the folks at Croteam released an updated demo patch which is the same version as the current retail. So that someone doesn't want to download the demo and the demo patch just to use its executable as a no cd, that seems like a purpose to me.

PS: and it really works, no issues on higher levels like with many other "demo cracks".

PPS: I uploaded the 2.064b executalbe to gcw, we'll see if there's a purpose

PPPS: saw you posted again, I think that a lot of people might prefer downloading a 20 kb file instead of a 250 MB demo (not talking about upcoming patches, at least I hope they go on patching the demo ). Also, there might be a lot of people not knowing they can simply use the demo...
