Vanishing Point on a new Dreamcast

I downloaded Vanishing Point a few months ago, I have play it with out any
problem. Until now, I bought a new Dreamcast last week, and I can't get it
to load. It just freezes on the loading screen, I have tried coping it a
slower speed, on different disc, all with the same result. Is there any
differences between the newer models and the old ones. Is there a patch
available ??
Any help would be welcome.

Sid

there is a problem with internet files on your vmu, they need to be removed to play the game or it freezes. dont take my word for this as i have not tried vp yet without internet options removed from my vmu, if you dont mind deleting these files then try it, i just read this somewhere on this site, hope this helps.

It is the Internet files that r the problem, but not the ones on the VMU.

It detects the internet files that r stored within the Dreamcast itself, u have to delete these files to get the game to work.

My mate and I found this out when I went on my hols and my dreamcast had not been powered up in over a month, so when I came back my memory had been cleared along with internet details due to lack of back-up power.

I didn't reload my dream arena data b4 i tried the game and it worked. When i did install my dream arena details it didn't work anymore, but did when i wiped them again.
