ok, i can not get it to connect at all, this is my setup:
ip address my ethernet card (is this what i set?) = 192.168.0.1 subnet mask on ethernet card = 255.255.255.0 nothing else chnaged, right? on the dc, everything is at 0.0.0.0 in bbrip, i have my MAC addy form dc, and set the ip to 192.168.0.2, right? i hit connect, and nothing.. it times out and gives me an error. also, is the light on my nic card suppose to light up at all, because it does nothing? please help guys...
