Serial protection?? Who knows??

PLEASE tell me this is just an error on my part. I hope that the software manufacturers haven't actually found a way to block
DC-PC cable ripping...

I have ripped Ready 2 Rumble round 2 successfully to the 3 .gz files. However when I try to rip Jeremy McGrath, the first file track03.iso.gz (which is huge) keeps pausing, and then at about 600 or so packets, a bunch of junk (ASCII characters) scrolls by on the screen and it locks up. I cannot get it to grab that file. Any ideas????

clean the gd-rom. make sure there is no fingerprints/scratches on the game. do not do anything else while ripping the game. reboot your pc before you start. and SEARCH THIS BOARD, there are plenty of people with same problem as you and many people have told them how to correct the problem

This is a common prob that xena knows a lot about and there are no protections like that... just think sega could have prevented all this if they just didn't put that serial port on... but who knows how ech does it!
