Did the same with an old Plex 12/10/32 and it worked perfectly, Nero sees the same device name (only just on a different adapter)
So burn software should recognize your yamaha too as it did before. Did you try to burn a CD-R at a lower speed to see if this works? Maybe there is a firmware update available @ msi which could solve this
