Question nhl faceoff 2001

hi there. i have used the search button already to see if there was any posts about this and there was.. i was wondering if anyone found a copy protection fix for the game. i want to play it so bad because it looks so good. also someone in the search mentioned www.eapatcher.com but the page does not work. thanks and i hope somone has it

i dont think there is a protection fix,just put a switch on your mod chip to turn it on and off!!

There is no protection fix for this game. Are you trying to convert it to PAL/NTSC?

sounds good... but are there any sites that might give a more detailed tut other than mega games i dont find it explains it very well thanks

it's easy u just fit the switch on wires 5 and 6 of the modchip and fit the switch into your playstation!
leave it on until the white sony screen disappears and then switch it off,easy as that!

okay.. i opened the playstation up on friday and had a look but i am totally confused... i think i know what to do but to be certain could you send me a picture of what yours looks like? because i really dont want to screw up my psx because then i couldnt use it.

i dont have a switch on mine as i have a stealth chip but i have fitted a switch on my sister in laws for dance dance revolution!
look at the chip,have it so u can see a little cut in the top of the chip facing u!
in that position pin 5 is the bottom right pin and pin 6 is next to it.
hopefully there is enough wire on your chip to put the chip on the side or top of your psx.
cut wires 5 and 6 and solder them to the switch!
drill a small hole in your psx and fit the switch!

oh yeh its got lots of slack.. its in the right corner of the console already.. ill have to take alook again at the chip and see if i can find this little "cut" and see if i can figure it out.. is there any chance that anyone else may have a picture because i still am uncertain lol but ill take a look thanks for the info
