shielded wires prevents interference with other electronic stuff. Speaker wires are usually shield to prevent 'noise' from the TV, etc.
Someone referred me to these wires which i am goona pickup today from radio shack. Enter these #'s on their website to see what they look like. Should be in the stores. 22ga wires(3.3v & ground) 278-1218 32ga wires 278-501
