ANyone have problems removing Echelon intro in NHL2k2???

Hello,

I followed the instructions in the DCFAQ section and it worked great to remove the Echelon intro in Dead or Alive 2.

However, for NHL2k2, I followed the exact same procedure, but when I binhack 1st_read.bin, all I get is an error, and I can't get past that point..

Is the procedure for removing the Echelon intro same for all games??? I highlight from the beginning of the 1st_read.bin to offset F0000 with a hex editor. I delete the contents and save the resulting file, which should be correct. Then I follow the Echelon self-boot method (binhack the 1st_read and go from there)

ANyone know what I'm doing wrong???

THanks

Bruce

Yes, I first made the same error than you.
Offset F0000 is good for DOA2, but the intro might be bigger or smaller on other games.

What I did (I don't remember for which game) is the following :
_ look in DOA2 what is after offset F0000
_ note the code
_ look in your game for this code
_ remove what's before
