Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle SAVE problem

i've a problem with the game, when it prompt to save the game for the first time, i input the name of the save and then when it try to load it the game falls, i must choose without saving to play, and we know that's just bad for the unlockable stuffs, 'cause they won't be saved, thanks for the help_
