DNAS patched backup works, yet not original

I just backed up my original Pal Mortal Kombat Deception and patched it with the dnas patcher. However, i can go online with the backup, yet not with original, as it hangs on the dnas authenticating screen. I didnt have this problem until i backed up the game and went online with it.

Any ideas to what might have caused this?

Note: I deleted my network config file too and made a new one with the original to see if that had anything to do with it, yet the problem still occurs
