newbie stuff: soul calibur scrolling problem, I can't install patch

hello, I am a total newb here as the title states
I just got my dreamcast the other day at EB games.

I have the cdi image of Soul Calibur. I used disc jugller to burn it to a cd and it plays on my dreamcast, but the screen scrolls rapidly.

I found a 50hz patch for this game, but I can't figure out how to patch it.

The patch came with 4 files

2 bin files
1 diz file
1 msinfo document

I tried to run ppf o matic 3 with no luck.

can someone give me a step by step on how to patch this game?
