the program itself will compress or do I need to prepare files compressed from the outside?
how to select the folder you want to compress? how to register?

I can not understand where I set the path the folder and the program will compress. On the first page I have not found that means {app} and {src}. What can stand in place of these variables. -So What is necessary to create the folder and copy the compressed files? or how?
And no one can give a concrete example of filling all link to one page, where again there Conk.

You can use the program only external compression? Or when I want to use an external compression, I did have to use the inside? Because I put everything and he can not find a directory folder, I should squeeze.

Again. For Internal Compression:
Design your Stuff. Go to Compression Tab, Internal=yes, Choose your Compression type.
Save the Project(!), click Export, then Import and Import the xxxx.db file you have Export before.
now your on compression page. Do all steps the Converter wanted from you (select game and output folder) compile.

External Compression:
Design your Stuff. Go to Compression Tab, External=yes. Add your Data.arc file(s), set
Input: {src}\yourarchive.arc
Output: {app}
extract pcf,jpg recompression sliders=yes
delete input=no
IMPORTANT for correct Installing is to set the percent of total correct!
Ex: 1Data.arc=100%, 2xData.arc=50%, 3xData.arc=33% a.s.o. Don't forget to set the Disk number right!
If you don't do this correct the Installer crashes or Slideshow runs like hell (3 pics in one second)
Save the Project(!), click Export, then Import and Import the xxxx.db file you have Export before.
select Output for setup.exe and data.db. Do this next to your external compress files. Install your game!

Sounds harder than it is but it's no Problem.

PS: Freearc+Precomp is NOT working! Only all Freearc types (tested -m0 till -m8) and Freearc+LZMA+Srep. UltraArc is NOT Compatible!!!

Thank you, but it is impossible. I can not understand how the program should identify a directory folder to compress the files in it. In the picture you can see that the program is not created Data.arc . When compiling the files are not packaged as can not find the directory.

Program can't compress files itself (only if used internal compression), you must create archives, before you can use it.

Altef_4 спасибо, что мне подсказали. Но куда мне потом скидывать Data.arc чтобы программа определила наличие файла? Программа на картинке поможет мне сжать файлы? В ней нет сжатие с помощью FreArc вроде, есть метод: SREP with LZMA compression он мне подойдет?( все заработает?) Или же использовать этот метод:MSC and SREP with LZMA compression ?

Я бы хотел сжать файлы методом MSC and FreeArc+LZMA+SREP но такого в программе нет метода.
Можно ли иначе через bat-ники , ну чтобы просто переносить на него папку и он начнет сжимать все в той последовательно которую я написал ?

Altef_4 thanks. But where do I then copied Data.arc program to determine the file? The program will help me in the picture compress files? It does not compress using FreArc like, there is a method: SREP with LZMA compression it suits me? (It will work?) Or use this method: MSC and SREP with LZMA compression?

I would like to compress files by MSC and FreeArc + LZMA + SREP but this program is not a method.
Can I somehow through the bat-nicks, well, just to carry on his folder, and it will begin to compress all in the series that I wrote?

If you think you can do an External Compression with GID like a Internal, then you understand something wrong.
You need to Compress the Game folder Extern with a Compress.bat (like in PeterF Conversions. Or you use the Compressor that I use (from Razor12911) to find in the most GID Conversions from me.
Of course you have to edit .lst files or list.txt files and Converter.ini/.bat file for your Game.

Something like fixing the Memory bug when I load a .gidp save file?

I like the software. It's nice that I can Repack my own games without any knowledge of scriptinv needed. Though, I feel the Interface editing is a bit too linear. Here are my suggestions: would be nice if we could enable/disable some of the windows like the "Autorun", "Installer", "Small Installer", etc. Then there is the buttons, its nice that I can set the colour and transparency on them, though, I feel the need for a Delete function to remove buttons, edit their function and the label (text on button). Otherwise, to make the text different I need to use a texture/image to replace it (haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if it would replace the text that way). And finally, there is one bug on 1.6 that I found to be quite annoying: I save my project regularly as I progress with it, but I've found that there comes a bug that it doesn't save correctly (click on save-> choose destination-> usally it give a progress bar of saving), it just imedialty says its done saving. Then GID stops responding and I need to force close GID.exe. When I open it up again and try to load my project, it gives me an error "Out of Memory".

But hey, I can't to hear from you about what you think of my suggestions. Looking forward to new updates.

I will try to fix the bug in the next weekend, will be more updates when I buy a laptop, probably in the next two months
