Sumit a working NOCD Patch CS-CZ

I have created a tested and verified working NOCD Patch for CS - Condition Zero. Where do I submit it??

btw. Before you flame me... This is NOT a rip off of someone else's NOCD patch. This is a real working NOCD patch for CS - Condition ZERO reverse engineeered from the leaked beta version (which in the RETAIL version is called CZ - DELETED SCENES)...

it will prolly not work with the retail since u r suing a beta exe
wich contains bugs and referes to 'older' gamedata.

NO I DID NOT CRACK SECUROM 5.0. READ MY POST DUDE. I DIDN'T NEED TO.

YES it works on retail 1.0 That's Why I said it was working and VERIFIED.

And Yes I patched it myself using beta EXE's and yes it works just fine.

Just because a retail product is reverse engineered from a beta means it can't work as a retail??? DuH! Ever heard of the Microsoft XP Pro "Devil's Own." release???

I simply TRIED TO HELP and OFFERED A FIX for game that maybe many people would want, and all you could do is criticize me. Pardon me, but I didn't know 12 year olds populated these forums.

Sorry about that. I just get quick tempered when someone tells me what I can and cannot do. I worked in the game industry for 10 years including working on software copy protections. I've also done my share of programming and testing as well as being a hardware junkie, and IT manager for said companies. If you want references I'll be happy to go into detail....

I don't appreciate it when people make wise remarks regarding a post I make when they don't know me or my skills and quickly judge me without even bothering to inquire about my skills or ability.

As for you cdkiller. maybe you should get to know more about someone before you make blatant calls like "I doubt you cracked securom 5 by yourself." Although I (above) admitted I didn't, how do you know I didn't? Just because I didn't does that mean that my patch is incapable of working? I don't think so...

What gives you the right to call me a liar or jump down my throat and get down on my post without even the slightest knowledge of who I am or my qualifications to modify programs? You are so quick to assume I know nothing and have a "non working" patch when you've never tried my patch, and have no idea of my background or skills.

You just want to bash on my skills saying "I doubt it would work with retail version." It does... and by the way, using is spelled USING, not "suing" as you intended above. How can I trust the programming skills and integrity of someone who misspells common words??? Turnabout is fair play guy...

anway, u r using an exe wich is OLDER then the retail.
i don´t doubt it will work with the retail but like i said it´s old and
does prolly contain bugs. thats why it´s called BETA.
it may work for singleplayer but mostly not online.

Fair enough. As I have not played STEAM online... I never claimed it was a working crack. Just a working NOCD patch. And it does indeed work for retail to that end.

But haven't we all realized by now that BETA sometimes differs far less from a retail product than you think. These bugs which you speak of...

Many times they're still present in retail releases, hence the need for a patch... I've seen companies I've worked for since the early 90's like Infogrames, including Accolade, GT Interactive, Atari, and the latter go out the door with dozens (on occasion hundreds of bugs). And even friends at Electronic Arts, Redstorm, Maxis, and more say that they're pushing games out the door despite bugs.

Who's to say that a beta release won't behave like a retail release especially considering the frantic release schedule of games these days. Not every company can take their time or the economical risk like Valve and Id games who know that people WILL WAIT IN LINE to buy their products.

I offered a fix for something that does nothing more or less than it promises, and I got criticized for it... That's just the way I see it.
