The Game Crunch
As I mentioned before, I am from the BBS days where game compression was almost mandatory!! LOL
With the new games out - say.... 2015 and newer game compression is almost impossible to get below 50%. I tried many tools here on FF and found that is probably the best you can do. 60% being average at best. IMHO I found that the only way to see that 30% - 40% and even lower is to RIP. Takes longer in most cases, but even with modern games you can get some crazy sizes. Take Skyrim SE, take out the language files and some of the docs, and you go from 27G to 14G! What do you guys think? ps. For me these days, the compression game is a hobby and/or an art-form.
