ghost recon problem

i am having trouble with ghost recon and the desert seige expansion pack. i have a fixed version of ghost recon and it is put in the registry or something. its like a cracked version or something. I scratched my original version and didn't make a backup yet so i did that. i tried to install the desert seige expansion pack and it keeps saying i need to install ghost recon first. but it is installed and i can play the game fine. anyone know how i can install the expansion pack? thanx

you must have a retail vesion of ghost recon.

Swap the NoCD/Fixed Exe you have installed with the original Exe from your RETAIL version of Ghost Recon. Like you said u have it, so this should not be problem.
