Where to get plugins

I'm a newbee and this... just downloaded a playstion psx game.... finally figured out how to burn on cd... now I needed an emulator... downloaded pcsx1.2 copied files on my pc.... following the read me text for instructions... found the bios.... but not sure what to do with them and what about the plugins... where do I get those and what do I do with them.... and then what... grrrrrr.... this is confusing.

Please help!
