Messiah 2 Installation Problems.
Today I got my Messiah 2 installed professionally with minor problems. My V5 PS2 had a problem with the sound coming out odd it has to do with the CLK wire from the chip. To fix this, Charlie outlined that there is an alternative point. If you have a V5 PS2, you should really use the alternative point.
Other than that, the chip works flawlessly. I only hope my laser doesn't mess up! ![]() |

The alt CLK point is nice because it avoids crossing over many of the wires which is what causes the interference. All install should also be done as the twisted pair with one the CLK wire the other connecting two ground points. Better done right the first time.

Hey, if you manage to route the wire from the original point so it doesn't cross over the other wires, or you TP it, more power to ya.
