EA Games & GH015 Model Board problems

Hi there !
I got a PS2 console and it has been modified with a Neo 2.2 chip & Action Replay 2. Copies of games i've made all work fine doing the swap trick except for EA Games. I've tried Gradius 3&4 and X-Squad but they won't start up in my PS2. I've tried different burning Methods (eg: CloneCD, Cdrwin & patch) but none of all the copies i've made worked
:-(
The installation pics & instructions i've found on the internet for the GH-015 board with Neo chip said that the chip has only be soldered to 5 points (instead of 8 as with older boards)as EA games swaapping is not possible with this board.
Is that true ?
Where can I find additional pics or instructions ?
Does anyone know a trick how to start EA Games with the GH015 Board ?

Thankx

yes, that is true, since the needed solder spots for the extra pins haven't been found. the only way to get them to work is by patching the games before burning.

Now i would have said that EA games copied with CloneCD on a fully comptabile reader/burner combination (RAW-DAO+96) obviates the need for the EA method on NEO2.2. Just use DVD Region X or AR2 to boot the PS2 and then swap in the EA game.

On v4 PS2s with NEO2.2 that's how it works and the 3 tray control pins don't come into it.

Or have I missed something in my explanation?
