Recommendations for Best CDR programs ? Error/fault on Nero ...

I've got a problem using Nero. I've installed the full version of NERO. Then, when it asks me to choose the Recorder device.. my cd writer is not listed there. I've tried the autodetect but it doesn't work. It can't detect my cd writer. I'm using sony 24x10x40x internal cd writer. Something wrong ?? But I've checked on Nero's site, it says that my cd writer is compatible with the program, but why doesn't it work ?

Are there any other cd writer programs which is better than Nero ? Any recommendations please ?

cdr win and clone cd are very good but don't have the drag and drop feature as nero...
