How can I know if I have a protected or non protected game????

Basically if u can copy it without a patch and it runs on your chipped playstation with no problem then it has no copyright protection.

If however u run it and it is a total balls up and doesn't work then it probably has some form of copyright protection.

www.megagames.com has a fairly up-to-date list of all the games that have copyright protection and need patches so having a look at that would be your best bet (its under the playstation section believe it or not =p).

Chances are that if it isn't on the list then you should be able to copy it straight off using your favourite cd burning software. Otherwise u'll need to patch it using CDRWIN by creating an iso image of the disk and applying the patch to that.
