how to create backup to hard drive
Hi All,
I have a question, I have farstone virtual cd. I would like to create a backup on the harddrive that farstone can read and use for playing copy protected games, especially the sims. I know how to create a working backup on cd, however I am constantly adding and removing cd/cdrw/dvd drives from my computer and sometimes the original cd and the back up won't work after I've removed and/or added drives. I've currently locked virtual cd into drive letter Q and I'm hoping that will make any games happy with being loaded to the same drive letter. The problem is that I can't create a vcd directly with virtual cd as it can't copy the cd. How can I do this? Also vcd can convert iso's to be used as a virtual cd, how can I create an iso from protected cd's? Appreciate any replies. ps, I have version 6.01b it was a bundle with motherboard, don't know if this is a crippled version or not, also I understand v7.0 should work with safedisc, etc but don't want buy it if I don't have to. Also I've used the cracked exe's, patches and stuff but I always have problems like no mouse, colors don't come out correctly, sounds don't work and such. Thanks. Thanks. You could try Daemon Tools instead. It provides good virutal drives for playing games on your hard drive.
