S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - changing Language?

Hi,

I installed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. today, choose German language.

Is there anybody aware of a way to change language (to English)?

There is a Registry-Setting for Language (InstallLang) for S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but changing it from "ge" to "en" or "eng" does not help, Game is still in German-Language. Anybody can help?

Thx in Advance :-)

You can choose while installing between German and English, but not after that.

Installed in German = German Language
Installed in English = English Language

But there "should" be a way, to change the Language *without* re-installing the game (I simple would like to decide to stay German or English, but without to re-install). And thus the Registry-Setting for German is set to "ge" and the Setting for English is set to "en" there must be a way to use either German or English.

As I have looked into it by now, it looks like, the files for English and German Installation are not the same. "gamedata.db9" has different Size when German or English...

Ok :-)

To confirm my own posting:

German "gamedata.db9" and English "gamedata.db9" are different (other gamedata files are same). Using either German or English "gamedata.db9" will change the Game into the corresponding language. Not really that "fine", but for now it's exactly what I needed :-)

Btw: If Game crashes, try deleting "user.ltx" in Documents and Settings :-)
