Creating Selfboot CDIs with Discjuggler

Lately i had the idea to create a selfbooting cdi with the built-in editor of Discjuggler. It's easy to use and supports the mil-format without any necessary modifications. So i built up a cdi after binhacking the boot-file and tried to insert the ip.bin manually into the image. It was a real hassle, but i found the starting sector and was able to input the file while leaving edc and ecc undamaged.

The image still doesn't work. I guess i either binhacked the wrong address, or didn't insert the whole ip.bin-file. Anyway, doing this manually is a lot of trouble. So i wanted to know if anyone might know of a program, which allows editing the sectors of image files. Alcohol has a very good sector viewer, but it's only a viewer. Does anyone know a program that works like the Alcohol sector viewer and allows sector editing?
