I'm trying to make a copy of Black and White V 1.1 but I keep getting system reboots when I run the patched exe. I tried some NOCD patches that remove safedisc protection, and even used safedisc cleaner to make my own executable of the game (safedisc v2.30.033 protection). Whenever I run the patched exe, the game runs past the credits and then reboots my whole system!
I also had this problem when I tried to make a backup of SimCity 4... it had Safedisc 2.9 protection if I remember correctly. Any ideas what could cause this? I'm thinking maybe it's my computer. I've got and older machine: Athlon 1ghz with a via chipset, Sony crx1611 burner, and an MSI Geforce 4200ti. I made sure to get all the latest drivers. Thanks for any help |

First of all, I take it this only happens with the cracks, i.e. the original cd works fine ? Update to the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers, it may just help...
