Hey guys, I installed an xecuter 2.6 and now i can not seem to get bios to load onto it. I think its my media. I currently do not have a dvd burner, and have been trying different types of cd-rw's, but none of them work. Anyone have any ideas IF and WHAT KIND or cd-r/rw's work in my xbox with the thompson drive? Or am i going to have to just buy a dvd burner, or a different xbox drive? What ones are the most compatible? Thanks

I don't know if you resolved the issue, but the chip has the Flash Bios on it, right? You do not need to install via disk, you can connect to it through an HTTP address and upload the bios. Here is a guide for that:
