Insert a Custom Logo in bottom right corner of screen while license screen is showing



[Requirement]

IP.BIN image inserter Win32 version by AndrewK / Napalm
Tools for taking a PNG image and inserting it into the logo image in an IP.BIN for display during boot.
It includes the pngtomr and logoinsert tools as well as the necessary support DLLs .
Note: image should be Width 320 x Height 90 or smaller, and have no more than 128 colors. Big Credit to AndrewK / Napalm


Dynaint
It's a tool can load IP.BIN on PC side for use to perview the Logo color & position


[Start]

Create a directory on your hard disk, "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools"
Unzip "logotools-0.1-win32.zip" & "Dynaint.zip" into "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools"


1) Create ,convert a picture file which want insert into "IP.BIN" to ".PNG" format by using your favour Photshop
Note: image should be "Width 320 x Height 90 or smaller" ,no more than "128 colors" and the background color better
at HTML Code: #C3C3C3 ,otherwise the background color behind the Logo will not match.
Save "Logo.PNG"


2) Convert a ".PNG" to the format ".MR" for used in the DC ip.bin
Open up a DOS Window and type in the following commands:

CD\Selfboot\LogoTools
Pngtomr logo.png logo.mr

After executing these commands, Pngtomr should have converted "Logo.PNG"to "Logo.MR" in dir "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools"



3) Insert file "Logo.MR" from png2mr into "IP.BIN" at the right place

Move the file "IP.BIN" which want to insert Logo into "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools"
Notice: File "IP.BIN" must be BinHacked first before goto this Step.
otherwise binhack will remove the "Logo.MR" in file "IP.BIN" which logoinsert inserted.

Open up a DOS Window and type in the following commands:

CD\Selfboot\LogoTools
logoinsert logo.mr ip.bin

After executing these commands, logoinsert should have inserted "Logo.MR" into "IP.BIN" in dir "CD\Selfboot\LogoTools"


4) Run Dynaint to load the "IP.BIN" on PC side to ##### the logo color match and at the right position or not.

Move "BOOTBIN" into dir "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools"
Start Dynaint,
Browse "C:\Selfboot\LogoTools\Ip.bin
Press Run Button and the preview window will be pop up.


Notice: correct background color was grey on "PC Side" ,it'll change to white when it shown on TV Screen.

If the logo color not match or at the right position ,try start from step 1 again.

If the "IP.BIN" lOGO preview was corrected ,press "Alt-F4" to close Dynaint preview window ,
Burn 1st Session "Audio .RAW/.WAV" Track ,
MKISOFS.EXE to create "DATA.ISO" ,
IPINS.EXE to combine "IP.BIN" into "DATA.ISO"
Burn 2nd Session "Data.ISO" at CDROM-XA MODE2,
Try Load it in yor DC.
