*Wolfenstein The New Order & old blood i use srep+zstd for all file and bpk for bink video...
i found no significant different between lolz and zstd on these two game only 100 to 150mb improve lolz over zstd, since only srep i prefer zstd much faster in decompression ( only 128mb for ram with 1 thread decompresion speed around 400mb/s on normal ssd) and you can use multithreading for compression in zstd ver 1.3.3...

zstd setting for arc.ini

[External compressor:zstd]
header = 0
packcmd = zstd -22 --ultra -T8 <stdin> <stdout>

if you have cpu less than 8 thread and less than 16gb ram use T4
Wolfenstein The New Order size 37.6gb.
Wolfenstein old blood 31.4gb.
* note i removed menu_credits.bink...
installing time on normal SSD around 3-5 min...

[QUOTE=doofoo24;469003]*Wolfenstein The New Order & old blood i use srep+zstd for all file and bpk for bink video...

this happened because lolz searches for texture headers and since wolfestain is already compressed (because of lz4 zstd etc). the headers might be corrupt which result in worst compression.
know that lolz compress a bit better than lzma on already compressed data or otherdata (sounds etc). the only one thing if u use lolz on files other than textures is good extraction speed.

if u ask me 'i never use lolz on files other than textures(that too precompressed). Even rz beats lolz on general data. but in precompressed textures lolz is the winner.

@darkwolves

use this setting.

lolz:dt1:dtp1:dto1:dtm1:dtw1:dtd1:mtt0:mt#d64m:tt4 h14:fba4096:mc1023:bc8:blr8:bm8

replace # with number of threads u want.
every thread will use 700mb of ram during compression. and during decompression (around 100mb).
since we have used mtt0(ratio will not be affterted because of multithreading) number of threads during decompression will be equal to number of threads during compression.
