Best way to create Back-Up... DUH!!!
Hi, (again!!)
Charlie replied this to me about my “Best way to create Back-Up”: “Best way to create a backup of CD games is to have a burner that is 'DAO-RAW+96' compatible with CloneCD” I have a “Yamaha CD-R/RW Model: CRW2200E-VK”. Now, I’m using CloneCD v4.0.1.3 and in the supported writers list, my writer is “RAW-DAO 96” because it is form CRW2200E series. So, here are my settings for reading a data to image: Profile Settings: Data Read Setting: Read Speed: (I’ve tried all. But nothing happens) Checked: Read SubChannel Data from data tracks Checked: Regenerate Data Sectors Audio Read Settings: Read Speed Audio: 8x (or lower) Audio Extraction Quality: Best (Slowest) Checked: Read SubChannel Data from audio tracks Unchecked: Only read the first Session Error Handling: Fast Error Skip Settings: Automatic Unchecked: Abort on Read Error Unchecked: Don’t report read errors Unchecked: Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner Reader Options: Capabilities: Checked: Allow reading of SubChannel Data from data tracks Checked: Allow reading of SubChannel Data from audio tracks Checked: Allow reading of CD-Text form Audio CDs Fast Error Skip: Read Retries: 0 Error Correction: Software This is the Log whenever I try to read the data of any game to an image file: 10:02:15 AM Starting copy from YAMAHA CRW2200E to C:\IMAGE.CCD 10:02:15 AM Read Speed for Data Tracks: 10x 10:02:15 AM Read Speed for Audio Tracks: 4x 10:02:15 AM Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks: Yes 10:02:15 AM Read SubChannel Data from Audio Tracks: Yes 10:02:15 AM Fast Error Skip: Yes 10:02:15 AM Don't report read errors: No 10:02:15 AM Intelligent Bad Sector Scanner: No 10:02:15 AM CD contains CD-Text: No 10:02:16 AM Reading Track 1... So this is my sad story. Hope there is an answer. PS. I already know that Muslims are treated well in the UK!! My friend is there and he wants me to come and start my BSc. Studies over there. Thank You!

If you get read errors with clonecd then the game is dirty or damaged, Try copying from a different original. No PSX or PS2 games have intentional errors, also fast error skip should not be selected and always choose abort on read errors.
