Crossover Cable
You guys say I need a crossover cable. So i guess a regular Cat 5 cable wont work?
Heres my setup. I have my Computer in my living room connected to a router. A hub upstairs where my xbox will be is also connected to that router Just wondering what I need to do to get it networked with my comp. If I get a crossover cable all I have to do is connect my hub upstairs with my Xbox via Crossover? |

You won't need a crossover cable is your useing hubs, switchs, or routers. If you hub up stairs is connect to the router down stairs all you need to do is plug the XBox into the hub with a stright Cat5 / RJ45 cable.
The only time a crossover is needed is when going to Computer to Computer, XBox to XBox or Computer to XBox, with out the use of a hub, switch, or router.
