gothic II - copy protection error?!!!?
hmm... i've installed the Gothic II from tha backup cds and i don't have the originals with me (i'm on a ****ing island for a while). i've just installed it yesterday and when i attack a creature (it is only the sheep- the goblin near the water killed me of course) i can't give any damage and it says Copy protection error on the screen... so that must be the result of the copy protection, obviously... right? (no, that's not my first game i've ever played of course but i've never faced a copy protection before)... (although that is not the first game i m trying to play from the backup) i've read some threads about that and it seems the crack about the Gothic II protection is still a riddle to be solved... and i m asking if there is anything new about that crack? i mean has it been found? i think there are things to be done while copying the cds in order to prevent that problem , but it seems there is not much to do with the backups already copied...
PS: please try to be kind i have no hacking knowledge... thanks...
