This is going to sound totally nuts but I need help!
Ok here goes. I just had a Magic 3 chip professionally installed in my PS2. All of my originals work fine as does my PS1 backups. However, none of my CDR PS2 backups work! Here's where it gets weird. These very same backups WORK in my buddy's modded system! He has a version 3 and I have 4. I assumed it was the chip so I gave it back to my installer along with one of my backups to test out. My backup didn't work on any of the other systems he had modded in his workshop. So he makes his own backup from my backup and it BOOTS!!!! In my system!!! I'm going nuts now! What am I doing wrong? I always used CDRwin for backups but it's not working for me now. Does anybody have any idea what I may be doing wrong? Are there any better alternative backup programs for PS2?Do I need to alter the settings on CDRwin? I need serious help LOL!

CDRWin sucks unless you are adding a patch. Use CloneCD and you should have no problems.
