newbie PAL patch question for Pro Evolution

Hello folks, newbie here. Hope I'm posting in the right forum.

Can someone please tell me what I will need to do to get a PAL version of Pro Evolution Soccer to play on my American TV & American PS2?

Thanks & cheers,
Stephen

ugh

I've been reading that I need to "modchip" my system to make it compatible.

Has anyone done this? Is it very difficult? Does anyone know of a plug-in adapter that would not require hardware work/soldering?

Many thanks,
Stephen

I found this...

Quote:
PS2 DVD REGION X:
Our Price: US$ 27 / 31
Availability: Ships within 24 hours!

The perfect multiregion DVD non-modchip solution for all PAL PS2 users!
Just plug in the cartridge and play import DVD Movies - Watch US DVD Movies on your EURO PS2!
Lets you play Import DVD movies on your PAL PS2 console. No modifications to your console are needed.
Simply plug into either memory card slot, load the Region X CD - and Play!

Plays PAL and NTSC Movies
Play Region 1 & 2 DVD Movies
Plays films with RCE Protection !
Do you think it would work the opposite way as well, converting PAL games to use on a NTSC system for PS2 games??
