Panzers 1.06

that no-cd is crap. i de-installed panzers, re-installed it, patched to v.1.06 and copied the cracked-exe to the dir. i began a new capaign (germans). after saving and reloading the savegame, the game crashed to desktop (gave me a error-message which said something like "failed to open savegame").

now i'm using the original exe again and everything runs fine! btw: i increased vcore in my bios a little bit and i don't have random crashes anymore.

It seems you're right.
I was trying again V1.04 (original version) and the game is showing "Version 1.04" in the main screen.
Then when i updated the game and used the "new" 1.06 crack it shows only "1.06", not "Version 1.06".

But, btw the game works fine for me. I don't have the "Repair-Unit - Bug" after updating the game to V1.06 .

When i was trying the first time to install the UpdatePatch, the Patch told me "You have to install PANZERS before installing the Patch". But PANZERS was already installed !!!???!!

Then i was looking in the registry and change the following from:
Arbeitsplatz\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CDV Software Entertainment AG\PANZERS\Deutsch

to

Arbeitsplatz\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CDV Software Entertainment AG\PANZERS - Phase1\Deutsch

Then i was able to install the patch.

Mayby it's fake/hoax/modified/stolen/whatever, but most important thing to me is that nocd works. Mayby it is modified v1.04 by star*...kers, and they didnt update sf3 version on that patch..but now I can complete those missions (which in 1.04 I couldnt), so its okey for me

The file size of "starf*ckers" executable and "S1elz" is the same (3.863.552byte). the only difference in code:

There are a littlebit more bytes change, but these byte, i think, are the Proof for us: S1elz has stolen the crack from Spitfire/Starfvckers.

At the beginning of the 1.04 EXE by Starfvckers are these entrys:
bite my shiny metal ass ... Spitfire / * Starfvcker * ... Finger weg!

At the beginning of the "1.06" EXE by S1elz are these entrys at the same position:
cracked by someone else ... Spitfire / * Starfvcker * ... Finger weg!

The cheater don't take out the Spitfire / Starfvckers sign !!!

Do you have the orginal game?

If you have, you've installed the patch 1.06 and then the NOCD crack (s1elz) and it worked fine for you, didn't it?

For sure, i have the original game.

1. I was playing PANZERS V1.04 (it's the first version) with the NoCD Crack from Starfvckers.
2. i have had the "Repair-Unit"-Bug.
3. Then i was updating the game to V1.06 and using the 1.04 Starfvckers crack.
4. The "Repair-Unit"-Bug was still there.
5. Then i was using the 1.06 (fake) crack from S1elz and the Bug was still there.
6. I deinstalled the game and cleaned the Starforce protection files from my system with StarforceCleaner.
7. I reinstalled the game from my backup DVD (yes it's possible to put the three cds to one dvd!)
8. I installed the update patch 1.06 using the changings in registry (see one of my previous postings)
8a. I didn't start the game before updating!!!
9. I copied in the "1.06" crack from S1elz.

--> The game runs fine without having any problem (Repair-Units) !!!

That registry thing was because you couldnt update without it, right??? because I had none problem to update, and I still had this repair bug, so it wouldnt be no use for me to uninstall and install again,right??? if I have this repair-bug, then I have it, and nothing I can do about it

You're right. The change in registry was needed to install the Update-Patch on my PC.
Don't know if this is the thing everyone need to "kill" the "Repair-Unit" - Bug.

But, just look in your registry, which of the both variants you have and then try changing it.

Give it just a try!

Hi everyone,
I tried to get rid of the bug the way GLH described. But it won't work for me. I still can't repair the tank in the Tutorial. In normal missions it will still only repair a couple units, different ones this time than in 1.04 but that's still unpleasent. My registry was already set up the way it's supposed to.
If anyone has an idea: Feel free to tell us.

Perhaps this 6 step could be the solution, I didn't try it

Does Anyone know if the upcoming english release will come with same problems?

The Bug is only a Crack problem, not a problem with the original exe.
For the reason, that there is no crack for the english version, noone can answer your question.
