I have never read as much crap in my life... You can backup PSX disk at what ever speed your writer/PC can handle, I've been backing up PSX and Audio for years and had many different burners.. The cheap nasty burners like liteon will give you problems at higher speeds but if you get yourself a SCSI plextor or a decent Yamaha then you can burn psx disks at x12/x16 or even x24 speed without any problems. Also make sure your PC is running sweet If it isnt I then don't copy "on the fly"
********************************** Have you never wondered why a big company like Plextor who pump out thousands of burners every day are priced higher than some 2-bit company who flood the market with cheap burners NOTE: **Get yourself a decent burner if you intend backing up PSX disks **Burning at x1 can give as many errors as burning at high speed. **Burning from disk to disk "on the fly" can be dodgy unless your system is finely tuned
