Some DC games wont work...? Whats the problem???? Help.
Ok, few more questions here...
Ok, so i know how to burn 'em now and everything. I've successfully burned over 7 working games since my first one Sunday. But what about bootdisks? I know people say they aren't needed anymore, but they are for some releases. Whats the deal with Bootdisks? Does one Bootdisk work with ALL nonselfbooting games? Also, are there already Bootdisk ISOs availible somewhere? I have a very small ISO (105mb) of Crazy Taxi and was told I needed the bootdisk... so where can I get one? I've already tried go.to/selfboot but it seems like a lot of work to do if there are already working bootdisks availble somewhere.. anyone know? Also, my WWF Royal Rumble Bin/Cue turned out to be a coaster. When I inserted it into my DC, it acted like it was an Audio CD. Or maybe this release just requires a bootdisk as well..? One more thing.. My Demolition Racer was a coaster as well. I burned it the same way I did with my other working games, but when I inserted it I saw the Dreamcast animation like normal... then the SEGA logo which is normal... but then it acted like it was an audio cd as well.. wtf? I doubt Demolition Racer needed a bootdisk since the ISO was around 690mb.. and I was told the smaller (around 100-200mb) ISOs are the only ones that are nonselfbooting. Does anyone know what happened with Demolition Racer and WWF RR? Heres what I did with Demolition Racer: Unpacked Converted .cdi > .nrg in DAO loaded the iso up in Nero, and burned. ....This is exactly what I did with my other games, and they all work. With WWF Royal Rumble: I loaded up the .cue file, and it loaded the tracks, then I tested the burn. It tested successfuly, so I went ahead and wrote to the CD. ..Is there something special you need to do with BIN/CUE DC releases? Ok, thats all.. any help of any kind is always appreciated. Thanks. |
