Hi,
I have been searching around trying to find someway to convert the dreamcast *BGM files to music files that can be played in windows. I read in some placed that many DC games uses MIDI format with Yamaha based sound system to render the music... Also, I am wondering what are the regular models and textures files format stored in dreamcast games? I have a DC CDI file, extracted the content using CDMage and found the following file formats:
Any help would be greatly appreciated... Last edited by jch02140; 16-07-2009 at 09:20. |

Winamp if I remember with the .adx plugin can play most dreamcast types.
On a side note, .adx is used on PS2 games too. |

Hi DABHand,
Thanks for the help. I did use a tool call adx2wav and converted all the adx files to windows wave. However, all those files are in-game characters dialogs. I am more convinced now that all the musics are stored in those BGM files.... Anyone know if those are sequenced sound/midi files? IF so, I believe there is DST file that can be ripped and played in AudioOverload... |
