this depends on what game you want to RIP.

it is different for each game as they all have coding in the boot file telling the PS2 to look to see whether the media inserted is a DVD or a CD and if it isnt a DVD it wont boot.

so you have to change this coding aswell as RIP the non essential information and relink it with false information.

like ripping out movies and relinking them to the developers logo.

the easiest way is to go to megagames.com and download a rip kit for the game that you want if it is on the site, then copy the dvd contents to your hard disk and let the rip kit do the job for you.
