yeah, yeah, backup for security measurements.
what so ever.

take smartripper to rip the vobs and use flaskmpeg (go.to/flaskmpeg) to de-/encode to your desired format (read dox!).

codecs needed: divx, angelpotion or panasonic mpeg1 (my favourite ones).
