Can I convert PS2 games from PAL to NTSC?
Without knowing better I've downloaded quite a few PAL PS2 games and I cannot play them on my NTSC TV. Are there any util that will let me convert PS2 PAL games to NTSC? Thanks.

What are your symptoms? Black and White? Games won't boot? Type of PS2? Detail is needed for help to be offered.

I recommend that you invest in $70 worth of hardware to convert PAL output to NTSC and ensure that you're connecting via the RGB cable (or Scart). According to my observations, the PS2 puts out PAL for a PAL game and NTSC for an NTSC game.
I've tried all of the conversion software (last March). But with no luck. Others have reported that the PAL-NTSC software works. Search the forum and see what you can find. I'm bery satisfied with hardware conversion. One final point you shoud know. I work the other way round. My TV is PAL. But the princple is the same because of what the PS2 outputs. |

So where do I find a PAL to NTSC converter? From a camera shop?

Depends which country you're in. Radio Shack in the US. Tottenham Court Road in the UK.
